Liebling is a unique brand of handmade ladies' shoes that was born out of love for design and for shoes. The creators of the Liebling label, Karni Reshef and Lior Livne, found their way to shoe design from different artistic and academic backgrounds. Karni studied art and building preservation; Lior, a graduate of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design's Visual Communication Department, specialized in postproduction design and animation. They met up while studying at the Achilles School of Shoe Design. Having shared a studio in 2007, they soon discovered that their dialogue led to a unique ability to design together and they created a line of ladies' shoes called "Liebling" ('my darling' in German). The main philosophy of the label is that comfort and aesthetics are necessarily interrelated. “We believe that when a woman feels comfortable and peaceful, she projects beauty and confidence.” Every “Liebling” shoe is an independent object, which entails a dialogue...

Here it is, the spring summer 2011 collection. I am so happy to have it up and in the shop and I feel like I have many things to say, but for now I just want to put up these photos and give many thanks and photo credits to Julia Stotz and Brian Guido and thank our model Mallory for braving one of the coldest springs on record in these outfits. When Fifi Lapin started her blog she had no idea that her online diary would become such a phenomenon - something that would not have been possible without the support of her loyal fans. She wanted to have a way to pay back that support by opening up the opportunity to own a little piece of Fifi, something she had developed herself, with love from her own fair paws. so the idea for 'art for all' was started. The art enthusiast and fifi fan gets to take home their piece of artwork for around the same price as a CD, book or record... Because of Fifi's super busy life as a furry fashionista print runs are limited so if you see something you like snap it up quick as it may be long gone tomorrow! Each run is printed on 100% cotton archival quality 225g/m paper, the paper is reminiscent of smooth watercolour paper giving the print a lovely soft texture and vibrant colour. You sort of need to see the end product to get the full effect, but each piece really is a beautiful specimen...
